5280creations dental laboratory is owned and operated by Kevin and Cynthia Kelly. We opened our doors in late 2013 in Thornton, CO.

Kevin has over 35 years of experience in dental lab management and fabrication of Ceramic, Fixed Crown and Bridge, and Implants.  He is a Certified Dental Technician specializing in ceramics, awarded in 2000. He is a graduate of the Dawson center for Occlusal studies and was awarded the 2018 Kois Center Education Grant where he attended Biomechanics I & II. He is looking forward to continuing his education at the Kois Center. The grant was awarded by the NADL. (National Association of Dental Labs).

He has had the opportunity to study with several world renowned ceramists such as Klaus Muterthies.  He had the honor of an invitation from his mentor, Peter Kirmeier, CDT  (Boulder CO) to study with  Mr. Muterthies at his laboratory in Germany in 2014 and again in Colorado in 2015.

Cynthia brings over 30 years of dental experience, 16 years of Dental Lab Business Management, Sales and Marketing, as well as 15 years of clinical office management in the Dental profession.  She served as Kids in Need Of Dentistry (KIND) Board Chair 2023 and remains active on the KIND board.

​

We are very proud of the fact that all of our restorations are hand crafted in the USA. We are dedicated to keeping up with the latest digital technologies offered in dentistry. We are a certified laboratory for Sirona in-Lab, Trios, iTero and accept all digital platforms.

Our mission is to offer our team a happy, healthy environment, with flexible work schedules, continuing education, and team building strategies. Kevin, Cindy and the team are passionate about giving back to the community.  They are active with Dental Lifeline Network, Colorado Mission of Mercy, Kids in Need of Dentistry, and several non-profits outside of the dental community.
